Family Healing Center Presents

A Free Informational Seminar about Weight Loss

Tuesday, April 19 - 6 p.m.
This free event will focus on setting and achieving healthy weight loss goals

(Sarasota, FL) Numerous studies show that nearly two-thirds of adults in the United States are overweight or obese and that childhood obesity rates have tripled in the last 30 years.

How to combat this rising epidemic?

By using a multi-faceted and integrative approach to health, diet and wellness, suggests Christina Captain, AP, DOM, a board-certified acupuncture physician, and president of the Family Healing Center in Sarasota.

“Part of our mission at the Family Healing Center is to help people discover the natural way to health and wellbeing by understanding what options are available,” says Captain.

She explains that the seminar on April 19 will focus on the ways conventional testing and natural treatment techniques can allow for a rapid and more permanent weight loss.

“It’s important to remember that obesity is much more than a cosmetic issue,” says Captain. “It’s the leading cause of dozens of diseases. We take a holistic look at a person’s overall health and then treat the underlying cause of the problem rather than merely treating the symptoms.”

This free seminar is Tuesday, April 19, 6-8 p.m., at the Family Healing Center, 1219 East Ave S, No. 104, in the Midtown Medical Park in Sarasota. Space is limited; please RSVP at 941-951-1119.

Services offered by the Family Healing Center include acupuncture, Chinese herbology, detoxification, nutritional counseling, acupoint injection therapy, and supplements, and facial rejuvenations.
